This finely wrought square seal is topped by a crouching mythical beast knob with sharply rendered facial details and geometric engraved shell patterns across its back. The vertical sides of the block feature delicately incised blooming floral scrolls beneath luminous gilt finishes, while subtle wear reveals patches of underlying bronze to lend authentic aged charm. Measuring 4 cm in length, 4 cm in width and 4 cm in height, the compact artefact weighs 310 g. Sturdy symmetrical proportions, lifelike sculptural detailing on the finial and meticulous border ornamentation showcase accomplished ancient bronze gilding and carving techniques.
