Carved from smooth pale white nephrite with subtle natural russet veining, this seated Guanyin group depicts the deity resting amid stylized rockwork, accompanied by the devotional boy Sudhana at her side. The Bodhisattva bears gentle, serene facial features and flowing layered robes with soft, rounded folds rendered in fluid relief. A finely carved hollow hardwood stand of rugged rock form accompanies the jade carving.
