This ceremonial jade knife is shaped as an elongated tapered blade with a flat rectangular base, carved from stone enveloped in thick chalky off-white calcified patina streaked with russet earthy discoloration. A single neatly drilled circular perforation sits near the base for suspension, flanked by two tiny lateral protruding tabs. All edges bear soft, worn contours shaped by long-term hand grinding, with a gently sloped uneven cutting edge at the apex. Devoid of decorative incising, it relies on stark geometric form and natural aged mineral encrustation to embody the solemn minimalist aesthetic of ancient ritual jade implements.
