Measuring 67 x 146 cm, this vertical kesi-woven thangka showcases Bhaisajyaguru seated serenely upon an ornate lotus throne encircled by billowing cloud scrolls and scattered blossoming flora. A radiant mandorla frames the Buddha?s head, with an inscribed panel of classical Chinese verses occupying the golden upper section. Intricate border patterns include phoenix motifs at the uppermost band, recurring cloud fretwork and detailed wave-and-dragon designs along the base. Remarkably fine silk weaving yields vivid tonal gradations across layered robes and scenic backdrops.
