Fine silver and copper inlays embellish every visible surface, weaving scrolling vine patterns alongside figural motifs including a detailed camel across the mortar body, while ornamental bands decorate the pestle handle and vessel foot. Time has cast nuanced verdigris patination over the bronze substrate, enhancing the antique texture. Measuring 10 cm in length, 10 cm in width and 23 cm in total height, the assemblage weighs 1380 g.
