A Red Ashay satin glass 'Lovers' car mascot, moulded in the form of a nude embracing couple, height 22cm. Note: Red Ashay mascots were made for H.G. Ascher Ltd of Manchester and London, by the Reidel Glass Works in Czechoslovakia. H.G. Ascher first marketed these mascots as 'Red Ashay' in 1930 and were taken off the market in 1952, when H.G. Ascher closed.
