CRIMEA WAR. A group of five autograph letters signed, from members of the Marshall family, circa 1854-1875, including three sent from the Crimean War, one referencing the taking of a small fort ‘there was about one hundred prisoners and 5 guns taken at the small fort, it was the artillery that took them, we still continue loosing a great number of men with sickness.’
