PEISHIMIN: A YIXING ZISHA TEAPOT AND COVER China, by Peishimin (1892-1976). The zisha stoneware teapot finely potted with a semicircular body, the sides carved with vertical ribs simulating chrysanthemum petals, each side with a plain rectangular reserve, set with a bamboo-form spout and loop handle. The domed cover similarly surmounted by a short bamboo-form knop. The underside impressed with a square signature seal mark ‘Peishimin’, the interior of the cover with two further impressed signature seal marks, ‘Pei’ ‘Shimin’. Dimensions: Length 17 cm
