The porcelain fish bowl with rounded sides supported on a short slightly tapering foot and rising to a flared rim, painted in doucai enamels with a continuous figural scene of scholars, attendants, and Daoist immortals in a garden landscape with bridges, rockwork, trees, and distant architecture.
