A PAIR OF ‘BLEU DE HUÉ’ PORCELAIN DISHES, c.1900s China for the Annamese court, 19th-20th century. The larger dish rises from a short ring foot to curved sides, the interior decorated in underglaze blue with a dragon emerging from clouds and facing a qilin. The reverse features similar decoration, with a four-character mark Nôi Phu thj hûo on the underside. The smaller dish rises from a short ring foot to faceted sides, opening to curved walls, the interior with calligraphy in underglaze blue, and the underside with a two-character Ngoan ngoc mark. Dimensions: Diameter 21.5 cm and 16.8 cm
