A SMALL, BLUE-GLAZED PORCELAIN ‘BLOSSOMING FLOWERS’ CUP, QING DYNASTY TO REPUBLIC PERIOD China, 19th-20th century. Thinly potted, with deep, gently rounded sides rising from a short, straight foot. The exterior is uniformly decorated in a rich cobalt-blue underglaze, while the interior is enlivened with vivid enamels to depict three small blossoming flowers against a transparent glazed ground. The underside bears a four-character underglaze-blue mark reading Dunmutang zhi [made by the Hall of Amity]. Dimensions: Height 4.4 cm, Diameter 8.4 cm
