A BLUE AND WHITE ‘BUDDHA’S HAND CITRON’ PORCELAIN DISH, QING DYNASTY China, 1644-1912. The shallow sides rising to an everted rim, painted in underglaze shades of cobalt blue to depict a spray of Buddha’s hand citron at the center, framed by double lines, the sides decorated with further sprays of fruiting branches. The exterior with four branches bearing fruits and the recessed base with a double ring centered by a mark. Dimensions: Diameter 19.3 cm
