A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE SGRAFFIATO-GROUND PORCELAIN ‘SEASONAL BLOSSOMS’ BALUSTER VASE, QING DYNASTY, QIANLONG MARK China, 19th century. Skillfully potted, the baluster body gently tapering towards the foot, with softly rounded shoulders rising to a broad, slightly waisted neck and an everted rim forming a wide circular mouth. The exterior finely decorated in vivid enamels with a variety of floral sprays, including lotus, chrysanthemums, peonies, belly flowers, and prunus blossoms, all set against a pink ground densely adorned with neatly incised scrolling motifs. The interior covered in a pale turquoise-blue glaze, repeated on the underside of the vessel, further decorated in iron-red underglaze with an apocryphal six-character seal mark reading Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi.
