A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN DISH, QING DYNASTY China, 1644-1912. The slightly lobed sides rise from a short ring foot to a flared, barbed rim. The interior is painted in underglaze cobalt-blue with a central motif of birds among grasses, while the cavetto and rim are decorated with a floral and leafy border. The reverse is glazed in café au lait, with a white underside. Dimensions: Diameter 22 cm
