A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN ‘DRAGON’ DISH, MING DYNASTY China, 1368-1644. The deep sides raised on a short tapering foot, boldly painted in dark shades of cobalt blue. The central roundel depicts a stylized dragon, while the cavetto carries two additional dragons, each with cloud-like bodies and bifurcated scrolling tails. The exterior with four stylized ruyi sprigs and the underside with a double circle. Dimensions: Diameter 20 cm
