A GLAZED POTTERY FIGURE OF A TODDLER, NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY China, Hebei province, 960-1127. Depicting a child in a crawling pose, the head lifted, atop a rectangular base, with only the lower half covered by a loosely draped cloth tied around the waist. Covered in a brown glaze darkening in the recesses and stopping irregularly above the base, revealing the buff ware.
