A MINIATURE YUEYAO GREEN GLAZED ‘DEMON MASK’ POTTERY JAR, EASTERN JIN DYNASTY China, Zhejiang province, 317-420. Of baluster form, rising from a flaring foot to a waisted neck flanked by two loop handles, the sides molded with fiercely grinning demon masks with bushy browns below the ‘wang’ symbol. The body covered in an olive-green glaze save for the foot revealing the buff ware. Dimensions: Height 6.1 cm
