AN RED AND GOLD ENAMELED METAL ‘PIG’ SNUFF BOTTLE China, 20th century. Of flattened baluster form, rising from an oval foot to a short cylindrical neck. The exterior decorated in red and gold enamels, depicting on each side a pig standing atop a stylized pedestal, framed by scrolling foliate ornament and bordered by raised bands. Stopper: Metal stopper with red glass inset, metal spoon Dimensions: Height 74 mm (incl. stopper), Diameter 16 mm (neck) and 7 mm (mouth)
