A SILVER-INLAID METAL ‘DRAGON’ SNUFF BOTTLE China, Republic period (1912-1949) or later. Of flattened baluster form, supported on a recessed oval foot, and rising through rounded shoulders to a short cylindrical neck. The exterior depicting on each side a sinuous dragon writhing amidst scrolling clouds and flanked by a beast-mask handles in relief. Stopper: Matching silver-inlaid metal stopper, metal spoon Dimensions: Height 65 mm (incl. stopper), Diameter 19 mm (neck) and 17 mm (mouth)
