Ɏ A YELLOW STAINED IVORY SNUFF BOTTLE, c. 1920 China, late Qing Dynasty to Republic Period (1850-1949). The flattened rectangular body with sloping shoulders, supported on a recessed rectangular foot, rising to a circular neck and fitted with a domed stopper. The yellow-stained ivory exterior carved in relief on one side with two standing figures in flowing robes, the other inscribed with a poem in black ink.
