Ɏ AN IVORY AND LACQUER INLAY ‘COURT LADIES AND CRANE’ SNUFF BOTTLE, QING DYNASTY China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The flattened circular body with gently rounded sides, surmounted by a cylindrical neck with a narrow mouth and a flat rim. One side finely decorated in red lacquer inlay with two court ladies in a garden terrace. The reverse depicting in black lacquer inlay a flying crane amidst blossoming peonies and stylized clouds. Stopper: Matching ivory stopper, carved spoon Dimensions: Height 63 mm (incl. stopper), Diameter 11 mm (neck) and 6 mm (mouth) Trade Certificate: The trade certificate for the sale of this lot within the EU has been granted (permit number 24PTLX02462C).
