A MOLDED RESIN ‘AMBER IMITATION‘ SNUFF BOTTLE China, 20th century. Of double-gourd form, supported on a flat oval base and rising to a short cylindrical neck. The resin body, of an ocher-brown tone mimicking the appearance of amber, depicting on both sides crickets amid intertwined flowering vines, lobed leaves, blossoms, and pendent gourds. Stopper: Resin stopper, carved spoon Dimensions: Height 70 mm (incl. stopper), Diameter 15 mm (neck) and 6 mm (mouth)
