A FINE JADEITE ‘PUMPKIN’ SNUFF BOTTLE, REPUBLIC PERIOD China, 1912-1949. Realistically carved in the form of a pumpkin, with a bulbous body carefully lobed and adorned on opposing sides with two mock handles, one carved as a small rodent, while the other composed of foliate motifs. The underside of the bottle centered by a prunus blossom. The finely polished, opaque stone of an appealing interplay of icy white tones and varying shades of moss green.
