A CELADON JADE ‘BAMBOO’ SNUFF BOTTLE China, Republic period (1912-1949) or later. The body carved in the form of a section of bamboo with three internodes, supported on a circular foot and rising to an elongated cylindrical neck. The exterior carved in openwork depicting scrolling foliage and stylized floral motifs. The neck and base formed as separate fitted sections, allowing the body to rotate. Stopper: Green glass stopper, metal spoon Dimensions: Height 88 mm (incl. stopper), Diameter 23 mm (neck) and 8 mm (mouth)
