A FINE STREAKED GREEN JADE BOWL, REPUBLIC PERIOD China, 1644-1912. The bowl is finely and thinly carved, with deep rounded sides rising to a gently flaring rim, supported on a thick cylindrical foot. The translucent stone displays variegated green tones with scattered creamy inclusions and dark brown streaks. The surface is brilliantly polished, giving it a lustrous shine.
