A LOT WITH FOUR ARCHAISTIC GREEN JADE CARVINGS China, 20th century. The set comprising: a mask-shaped pendant, incised on one side with an abstracted human face, the translucent stone of brownish tone with extensive areas of calcification; a pin-shaped pendant, the semi-translucent stone of a celadon tone with dark veining; a jade sword guard, of lozenge form, carved with archaic motifs, the stone of a green tone with creamy-green areas; and, a jade arc-shaped ornament, carved with stylized dragon heads at each end, the gently curved body is decorated with raised comma-shaped spirals, and the semi-translucent green-toned stone exhibits overall calcification.
