拍品描述
A RUSSET AND CELADON JADE PEBBLE CARVING WITH A BIRD, LINGZHI, AND FRUITING VINES China, Qing dynasty (1644-1912). Carved from a jade pebble with extensive russet skin, one side left largely unworked to preserve the natural surface of the stone. The front is carved in relief with a bird among lingzhi and fruiting vines with broad curling leaves, the translucent celadon jade contrasting attractively with the natural russet skin. The carving makes effective use of the pebble's form and coloration. Dimensions: Length 7.1 cm
