A BRONZE FIGURE OF A TORTOISE, MING DYNASTY China, 1368-1644. The tortoise standing on all four feet with its head and tail protruding from a domed carapace. The shell further cast with the elongated feet and sharp talons of a crane, with two circular perforations. The bronze with a naturally grown patina and malachite encrustations. Dimensions: Length 11.4 cm
