A WHITE METAL KARUWA VESSEL, 19TH CENTURY India, 19th century. This karuwa vessel features a compact, globular body with a refined, symmetrical design. It shows a waisted neck rising from a splayed, stable foot, and a short spout extending laterally for easy pouring. The spout is securely attached to the body with small copper nails. The surface is adorned with subtle, evenly spaced ribs, providing texture and grip.
