A BOW-SHAPED ‘HEAVEN AND EARTH’ AGATE DZI BEAD WITH 18K GOLD MOUNTING Tibet, 19th century or earlier. Of bow-shaped form, featuring a square and a circular motif flanked by stripes, skillfully etched onto the surface. The agate of a dark brown to amber tone. The bead is fitted with 18K gold caps on both ends, of a later date. Central drilling allowing for suspension as a pendant. Dimensions: Length 5.1 cm The Heaven and Earth Dzi bead represents the harmonious balance between celestial and earthly energies, embodying the interconnectedness of the spiritual and material realms.
