The semi-translucent and banded agate of white color darkening at the center and with an orange etched pattern. Central drilling allowing for suspension as a pendant. Dimensions: Length 8.2 cm Chung Dzi beads are characterized by striped or banded patterns that often form naturally within the agate. They are traditionally believed to provide stability, grounding energy, spiritual benefit, and protection to the wearer, making them a popular choice among Tibetan monks and practitioners of Vajrayana Buddhism. They are most often worn as protective amulets and are sometimes ground into a powder for use in traditional Tibetan medicine. The Eleven-Stripe Dzi beads are associated to combine the energies of the five Dhyani Buddhas and the six-syllable mantra ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’. The Five Dhyani Buddhas represents the five Buddhas of Highest Wisdom, who help transform negative human qualities (such as ignorance) into positive aspects. ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ is a famous mantra, which promotes compassion and peace.
