A RARE ‘STAR, MOON AND EARTH’ AND ‘KUBERA’ AGATE DZI BEAD Tibet, 19th century or earlier. Of elongated tubular form with slightly tapering ends, featuring a well-defined ‘star, moon and earth motif’ and a ‘Kubera motif’, skillfully etched to its surface. The opaque agate of black color with white etching. Central drilling allowing for suspension as a pendant. Dimensions: Length 5.3 cm The Kubera Dzi bead is associated with Kubera, the guardian deity of wealth and prosperity in Buddhist and Hindu traditions, and is regarded as a powerful talisman of abundance, success, and material stability. The Universe and Star Dzi bead motifs together symbolize cosmic harmony, destiny, and the guiding forces of the heavens within Tibetan spiritual traditions. Associated with the sun, moon, stars, and the vast order of the universe, these symbols were believed to align the wearer with favorable energies, bringing clarity, inspiration, protection, and good fortune.
