A 19th Century French Gilt Brass Oval Carriage Clock with Alarm, No. 226, the 2.25ins diameter dial and alarm dial with Roman numerals to the eight day two-train movement with platfrom escapement, striking and repeating on a bell, contained in gilt brass and bevelled glass case with shaped handle, the whole engraved with foliate and scroll ornament, on moulded base, 5.75ins high, and leather travelleing case for same
