A CHINESE JIZHOU 'PRUNUS' BOWL, SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127 - 1279) Its everted rim carefully formed with a raised ridge on the interior and slightly recessed edge on the exterior, its wide well cursorily painted with a flowering prunus branch beneath a crescent moon in buff colored slip against a dark chocolate brown ground slip that extends onto the exterior walls, stopping unevenly above the foot.
