Colonial Latin American School, 18th/19th century Virgin and Christ Child oil on panel 29 1/2 x 23 inches. This lot is located in Philadelphia. Provenance Every lot in Sale 6571 - The Vault is being offered as-is and without further condition reports beyond what is already stated. This lot is painted on three horizontal panels that are attached with seams visible on front with associated paint loss and cracking along each connecting line. Seams also visible on the reverse. Intermittent abrasions along extreme edges with associated loss to paint. Craquelure throughout. Abrasions and scuff marks throughout. Pinhole with associated loss to paint at lower right extreme edge. Under UV light: evidence of inpainting along lines where panels conjoin.
