Victorian mid 19th century Wheeler & Cronin silver snuff box with scalloped edge & chased scrollwork to the exterior. Gold washed interior, and central cartouche to the lid. Birmingham, 1844, maker's mark of Wheeler and Cronin, duty mark of Queen Victoria (1838-1890). Total approx. weight of the snuff box is 3.18 troy oz (gross). From a Westchester, NY estate. Dimensions: snuff box measures approx. 0.875" h x 3.5" w x 1.75" d.
