Diamond Brooch. Art Deco signed French 18kt white gold brooch displaying (3) circular pendants comprised of onyx, and jade with central round faceted diamonds. The three pendants are stamped verso with French pictorial hallmarks of an eagle's head representing a gold fineness of .750 or 18kt gold; further stamped with an unidentified maker's mark within a lozenge form frame and a serial number of, "AY 5329". With a later added brooch backing, stamped, "15ct" and a gold post testing as 9kt gold. Three diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm each. Total approx. weight of the brooch is 4.7 ndwt (gross). From a Scarsdale, NY estate. Dimensions: brooch measures approx. 2" w x 0.55" h.
