Stamped verso, "S&P 9 .375" with a city stamp of Birmingham, and a unidentified date letter of 'O' in a cut corner frame; S&P possibly represents Smith & Pepper Ltd.; additional stamp of, "9ct" to the backings. Total approx. weight of the pair of earrings is 5.8 dwt (gross). From a New Rochelle, NY estate. Dimensions: snake earrings measure approx. 1.05" w x 1.55" h.
