Glazed earthenware 'LR' seal to the lower side of the vessel 16cm high Provenance: Inherited from an estate which included confirmed works by Lucie Rie. The owner reputedly made visits to the studio of Lucie Rie and would purchase from her in person, therefore, whilst the glaze, form and makers mark are not completely consistent with other works by this artist, it is possible the piece was gifted directly. There is no paperwork associated with the acquisition.
