Note: Charles Melohs (also known as Charles Weissman, 1908 - 1982) was a Brooklyn-born modernist artist. Orphaned at a young age, he found solace in painting and earned a full scholarship to the Pratt Institute. He is best known for his expressive, impasto oil paintings that span landscapes, still lifes, and abstract compositions. Dimensions: 28" h x 36.125" w. Frame: 38" h x 46" w.
