A GEORGE II BLACK AND GILT JAPANNED BUREAU ON STAND CIRCA 1720 Decorated overall with chinoiserie landscapes with figures in wooded and rocky terrain with pagodas and fishing boats, birds and flowering branches, the bureau with a fall front revealing a fitted interior of drawers and pigeon holes, the frieze drawer fitted with six boxes with hinged lids, the stand with a further drawer on cabriole legs with pad feet, the interiors red-painted, with a paper label for COPPLESTONE'S DEPOSITORY.....
