A JAMES I CARVED HIGH RELIEF OAK PANEL EARLY 17TH CENTURY The central strapwork cartouche showing Hercules and the Cretan Bull, flanked by hunting scenes depicting roughed gentlemen on horseback with dogs, pursuing a lion, a tiger, a swan, foxes and a ram, the trees carved in high relief with low relief architectural buildings in the upper sections, possibly a lintel 16cm high, 119cm wide Acquired from the Polish Congregation of Marian Fathers in the late 20th century.
