The deity is heavily cast and depicted seated in padmasana on a lotus throne, with hands held together at the chest in a variation of anjali or uttarabodhi mudra. The figure is backed by an elaborately cast, openwork flaming mandorla centered by a garuda flanked by apsaras amidst scrolling tendrils. The entire assembly rests upon a massive, multi-tiered stepped architectural Sumeru pedestal intricately details, the hollow-cast structure enclosed by a copper base plate incised with a central treasure vase wrapped in flowing ribbons, the borders showing traditional chisel-crimping.
