The figure is modelled, seated, both hands held before the torso, cupping a dragon nestled within a small bowl. The ascetic抯 face is naturalistically rendered with deep spiritual intensity. The head, neck, and hands are left: unglazed; the voluminous robes draping over the shoulders and pooling around the base are applied with a glossy glaze of malachite-green hue.
