Potted with a globular body supporting a tall, flaring neck that terminates trumpet-shaped rim. The exterior enameled with an all-over design of multi-colored blooming lotus and smaller floral florets borne on dense, scrolling tendrils with stylized green leaves, all reserved on a vibrant ruby-red ground incised with sgraffiato needlepoint scrollwork. Interspersed throughout the floral scrolls are bats in flight. The trumpet mouth is bordered by a yellow-ground band of ruyi-heads at the rim, while the foot is encircled by a key-fret border.
