The body is finely decorated with two large circular medallions enclosing scenes of a cockerel and birds amongst blossoming peonies and chrysanthemums. The medallions are set against a dense mille-fleurs ground. The neck is flanked by a pair of stylized ruyi-form handles picked out in gilt. H:27cm.
