Finely engraved dark hematite cylinder seal of elegant proportions, deeply carved with a continuous ceremonial presentation scene featuring richly attired deities, worshippers, and divine attendants arranged in a balanced procession. The central composition is dominated by a principal horned deity wearing a tiered divine headdress and long pleated robe, approached by standing figures in the traditional Mesopotamian gesture of adoration. Winged and attendant figures flank the sacred assembly, while divine standards, celestial emblems, and a vertical arrangement of astral symbols reinforce the heavenly nature of the scene. The figures display elongated proportions, finely rendered facial profiles, and meticulously engraved pleated garments characteristic of the finest Neo-Assyrian glyptic workshops. The engraving produces an exceptionally crisp impression, preserving remarkable iconographic detail and reflecting the seal’s dual function as both an administrative signature and a powerful personal amulet invoking divine authority and protection.
