Antique George Jones Majolica Ceramic Lidded Sardine Dish, circular for, also used as lidded cheese dish, circa late 1800s, the piece features a cobalt blue ground decorated with relief molded water Lillies, Bull rushes and dragon flies, it consists of a dome shaped lift off top with a sculpted bird finial, property of late Manhattan antique majolica dealer and collectors Scarsdale NY Estate, measures approximately diameter 8 inches, ht app 5.5 inches, no chips found at time of photography
