Antique Victorian Majolica Ceramic Pitcher, featuring a Bird and Bamboo Motif , and representative of chinoiserie and Japanese influence to the Aesthetic movement, it features a distinct squared shape framed by faux bamboo structural corners and trim, the panels consist of cream toned basket weave texture , two sides have raised bird reliefs perched on branches, with the vivid turquoise interior this piece is attributed to Samuel Lear or Thomas Forester of Staffordshire England, C1880-1885.
