Pair of large antique Victorian era Grand Tour micromosaic cufflinks measuring a total of 21mm x 18mm, showcasing miniature depictions of iconic classical Italian ruins. The central micromosaic panels feature exceptionally fine hand-cut smalt glass tiles (tesserae) arranged to form precise architectural landscapes. The plaques are flush-set into smooth, oval black onyx frames and surrounded by a decorative yellow gold bezel rim. The mounts are unsigned and have been tested to verify 14K yellow gold purity.
